MA,

Girllllll, since you transitioned, I think about you daily. Some days the thoughts bring smiles and others tears because, what?! What do you mean you're no longer here, I just knew we had more time. More time to love, more time to laugh, more time to joke around (cause baybeh, you plays entirely TOO. MUCH sometimes lol), more time to annoy you with my obnoxious laugh (bahaha) and more memories to share. I just knew you’d be here for all the big moments, the smaller ones and everything in between. To love on my future babies and be my in-home babysitter, to watch me walk down the aisle and do love and life the right way. I just, knew I knew, but apparently, I didn’t. BUT GOD! He knows. He knows about the pain you felt but chose not to speak on because you ain’t want nobody to worry about you. He knows about the tears you cried when nobody else was around. He knows how much you suffered in silence but chose to scoot around with yo head held high anyway. I’m proud of you ma. I’m proud of the woman you grew to be and the relationship you built with God. I’m proud of yo strength, yo courage and the fight you kept all the way til the end. I also want to thank you for forgiving those who hurt you, and choosing to grow in the areas you struggled with, I know first hand that takes a lot of strength. I’m certain you got your wings, stink and I hope to see you again on the other side. Singing with the kids and tellin’ em to “hold that note” when the good part of the song was comin up, dancing, speakin spanglish, meddling with stuff that ain’t got nothing to do with you (lol), makin’ up songs, all the things. I ain’t gone lie, I miss you, I miss you a whole lot and I foreal don’t know what life is without you. But you already know, Ima figure it out, cause duh, I’m Sandy's daughter, but I love you girl, “forever and unconditionally”.

Love yo "one and only"...
